Roy Dussouy has lived a life full of movement, long hours on the road, months away from home, and countless miles between one stop and the next.
Along the way, he found himself drawn to people and their stories: the waitress working a double shift, the traveler passing through town, the older couple sharing coffee in a small-town diner.
Those everyday encounters shaped him long before he ever began writing. They taught him resilience, perspective, and the quiet value of paying attention — lessons that naturally found their way into his work.
The people he met, the places he traveled, and the small moments most of us forget became the sparks that fueled his imagination and inspired him to start putting words on the page. Writing soon became a way for Roy to explore bigger questions: What drives a person? What shapes a choice? What does fear, loyalty, or courage really look like?
Those questions eventually led to The Choice Series, a fictional world built on suspense, humanity, and the weight of the decisions we make.
Today, Roy continues to write stories meant to pull readers in, hold their attention, and leave them thinking long after the last page. Book 2 coming soon.
